Great service and quality work! I needed a plumber to fix a small leak coming from the water line that goes to the ice maker in the freezer. Mike and Nathaniel arrived at my door. They took a look at the leak and told me how they planned to fix it, how much time it would take and an estimated cost. They did the repairs and updated some of the plumbing so that I will not have THAT problem again. When they were done, they explained what they had done. Both guys were attentive and knowledgeable. We had a partial blockage in a pipe under the house that caused the kitchen sink to fill up when the bathtub upstairs drained.  Yuck is an understatement.  My many attempts to snake the drain myself only bought temporary relief, so I decided to call in a professional.  I made an appointment with PPS based on stellar reviews on Yelp.  

Nate and Carl arrived and assessed the situation.  Based on a visual inspection of the layout under the house, Nate recommended replacing all or some of the old cast iron drain pipes.  He also found a leak under the downstairs shower we had no idea was there.  The cost was more than I wanted to spend, but Nate explained the pros and cons of various approaches to remediation, and we decided on a partial replacement of drain pipes in the problem area.  Nate, Carl, and crew returned a few days later, and completed the work within the estimated time.  When the work was done, Nate verified that the drain was flowing freely.  He also used their camera to show me the condition of the main drain line, revealing tree roots that had intruded near the street which might cause future problems. I had water intrusion in the downstairs bathroom and did not know the sources.  Pure Plumbing Solutions' Nate was tenacious in figuring out a tub enclosure issue that was leading to water trickling down to the downstairs bathroom. We had to have a drain cleaned out and a disposal replaced. Of course this happened on a late afternoon on a Friday before a holiday weekend. I called the office number at 4:45pm and Mike, the owner, answered! Not only that, but they had availability the next morning!!

Austin showed up on time, with booties, and lots of knowledge. He quickly diagnosed our problem and gave us a detailed quote. He actually gave us 3 quotes: bare minimum, better, and fix all the problems at once and be done. You see, much of the pipe work under the sink was done improperly. We were going to continue to have problems if this root cause wasn't addressed. We chose to do it right and be done. 

After 3 hours of meticulous work and educating us on how to maintain our property better (we don't know much), Austin left my home cleaner than I would have!

These guys are very professional, certainly not the most inexpensive, but they always do the job right, I have already called them at least twice, mainly for installing new faucets in the kitchen and bathrooms. Responsive to inquiries and willing to do a smaller job.  Many other companies did not even respond to my inquiries, most likely because the job was small.  Showed up on time and did high quality work.  Took the time to explain all the various options and costs involved before doing the work.  In addition, they were courteous and polite, using shoe covers to go in and out of the house without even being asked. Mike and Nate came to fixed our clogged shower drains and install shower heads. They were quick to diagnose  and made sure all the drains in all bathrooms were working good. They were communicative, responsive and very professional in their approach. They did a final walkthrough of all the fixes and also made sure the shower was left clean.
